Carcassing

Carcassing is the largest department within CWP, and sells length packaged structural softwood to Timber and Builders Merchants. Products are sourced from Latvia, Estonia, Sweden, Canada, and Germany. Mills within the Norvik group provide large volumes but CWP trades actively on the international timber market, for quality stocks at the best prices.

Most production is certified by either PEFC of FSC. Vessels discharge regularly at Baltic Distribution Ltd, and stocks are held for distribution throughout the UK. With a wide product range, customers can mix various items on the same loads (including fencing panels from Wayland) thus providing a one stop shop for timber and fencing products.

Within the Carcassing range there are a wide range of products, some of which include:

  • Dry Graded regularised softwood (including lengths up to 7.2m)
  • Unseasoned Sawn Softwoods (including lengths up to 7.2m)

All products can be pressure treated with Tanalith E in Green or Brown.
