John manages all functions of the Continental Wood Group as the founder, including chartering and logistics. He is also a member of the Administration Board of EWP in Estonia.

Brief career history

John started in the timber trade as a trainee with Mallinson Denny, in Gravesend in 1974. He joined the well known Finnish company Schauman UK in 1989 and mainly traded in Birch plywood. John started Continental Wood Products with 2 partners in 1991.

Interesting facts

John is a keen follower of sport, especially football and golf. He has travelled extensively in Europe and Russia. He used to play in a group, still loves music, and relaxes by playing his grand piano. He is married with three children.
