Brief career history

Gary started in the timber trade in 1978 as an apprentice woodworking machinist. After a short time on the factory floor he moved into the sales office where he qualified A.I.W.S. He has been involved in many aspects of timber merchanting before moving into the importing side of the industry.

Interesting facts

He is a very keen sports person and represented his county at football. He now spends most his weekends watching his two boys play football. Gary is very interested in motor sport and loves to watch it on at the weekend, two wheels being much more fun to watch!
