Continental Wood Products are the largest stockist of softwood in the UK with our own fleet of vessels. We provide a wide range of carcassing, fencing, birch, pallet wood, furniture components and redwood.
Founded in 1991, we are now part of the Norvik Group of Reykjavik. Continental Wood Ltd has restructured their UK businesses, into two distinct trading companies.
The Softwood trading company, Continental Wood Products Ltd will continue to trade from its Westerham base. A group of companies including Norvik Shipping which has now been formed will also incorporate Baltic Distribution Ltd, Crouch Shipping Ltd, Norvik Shipping & Logistics Ltd (new company) and Norvik Shipping Ltd (Mosvik).
As part of the Norvik Group, we have a unique supply source of constructional softwoods which makes us one of the largest stockists of softwood in the UK.
CWP charters all its own vessels, and has 9 and 10 vessels a month discharging at Baltic Distribution Ltd. Logistically this enables us to control our quality products from the forest to final delivery to the customer in the UK.

Our parent company was founded in 1962 and owns sawmills in Latvia, Estonia and Sweden with extensive cutting rights in Russia.
